It is also full of nutrients, like protein, dietary fiber, niacin, Vitamins C, E, and K, calcium, potassium, copper, iron, magnesium, and zinc. Because of this, turmeric is a great thing to use to cure health problems. Here are the top ten things turmeric can be used for: Prevents Cancer Turmeric can block prostate cancer and even kill cancer cells. It can also stop tumor cells from growing, so it can guard the body from getting cancer in the first place. Relieves Arthritis Because turmeric brings down swelling, it’s great to use for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It also kills germs that harm body cells. People with rheumatoid arthritis who eat turmeric all the time have gotten much rest from pain and joint swelling. Controls Diabetes Turmeric can help cure diabetes, by keeping insulin at normal levels. It also helps with sugar control, and makes the medicine used for diabetes work. But if used with strong medicines, turmeric can cause low blood sugar, so make sure to ask your doctor before you take turmeric capsules. Reduces Cholesterol Levels Using turmeric as a spice can bring down cholesterol levels. Because high cholesterol can cause other health problems, it is important to stay on top of it to stop heart disease. Immunity Booster Turmeric helps keep the body’s immune system going. It also helps strengthen the immune system, because it kills bacteria, viruses, and fungi. This stops you from getting colds, coughs, and the flu. To help you feel better if you do get sick, mix one teaspoon of turmeric in a glass of warm milk and drink it once a day. Heals Wounds Because turmeric naturally kills germs and bacteria, it can be used to clean wounds. If you have a cut or burn, sprinkle some turmeric powder on it to help it heal quicker. It can also help treat psoriasis- itchy, dead skin- and other skin conditions. Weight Management Turmeric powder can help keep the body at a proper weight, by helping break down fat. Someone who wants to lose weight or treat obesity and sicknesses that come with it, can have one teaspoon of turmeric with every meal. Prevents Alzheimer’s Disease Swelling of the brain is one of the main reasons for cognitive disorders, like Alzheimer’s disease. Turmeric can keep the brain healthy, by helping oxygen flow. This can also slow down or totally stop Alzheimer’s disease. Improves Digestion Turmeric can help with digestion, by lessening bloating and gas. It can also help treat inflammatory bowel disease. But be careful, because if you suffer from a gallbladder disease you should not take turmeric, as that can make it worse. Also, if you have a digestive problem, it is best to eat raw turmeric, and not capsules. Prevents Liver Disease Turmeric is a natural way to force poisons from the liver. The liver takes poison out of the blood, and turmeric helps make the enzymes that keep it working. It also helps strengthen, and better blood flow. All of this helps to keep the liver healthy. Because of all the ways turmeric can help your health, adding this herb to your diet is a great idea. Often known as the "Queen of Spices", its main characteristics are a peppery aroma, strong flavor, and golden color. People from all over the world use this herb in their kitchen. It is also loaded with many healthy nutrients such as protein, dietary fiber, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, potassium, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, and zinc. Because of all these factors, turmeric is often used to treat a wide variety of health problems. 1. Prevents Cancer Turmeric can help prevent prostate cancer, stop the growth of existing prostate cancer and even destroy cancer cells. Several researchers have found that the active components in turmeric make it one of the best protectors against radiation-induced tumors. 2.Relieves arthritis The anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric are great for the treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, the antioxidant property of turmeric destroys free radicals in the body that damage the body's cells. It has been found that those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis who consume turmeric on a regular basis experience much relief from mild to moderate joint pain as well as inflammation of the joints. 3. Immunity Booster Turmeric contains a substance known as lipopolysaccharide, which helps stimulate the body's immune system. Its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal agents also help strengthen the immune system. A strong immune system decreases the chances of colds, flu, and cough. 4. Control Diabetes Turmeric can be used in the treatment of diabetes by helping to moderate insulin levels. It also improves glucose control and increases the effect of medications used to treat diabetes. Another significant benefit is the effectiveness of turmeric in helping to reduce insulin resistance, which can prevent the onset of type 2 diabetes. 5. Heals the wound Turmeric is a natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent and can be used as an effective disinfectant. If you have a cut or burn, you can spray turmeric powder into the affected area to speed up the healing process. 6. Reduce cholesterol level Research has shown that simply using turmeric as a food condiment can lower serum cholesterol levels. It is a known fact that high cholesterol can lead to other serious health problems. Maintaining an adequate level of cholesterol can prevent many cardiovascular diseases. 7. Weight control Turmeric powder can be very useful in maintaining an ideal weight. A component present in turmeric helps to increase the flow of bile, an important component in the breakdown of fat in the diet. Those who wish to lose weight or treat obesity and other associated diseases can benefit from having a teaspoon of turmeric powder with each meal. 8. Prevent Alzheimer's Disease It is suspected that inflammation of the brain is a major cause of cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer's disease. Turmeric supports the general health of the brain helping in eliminating plaque buildup in the brain and improving oxygen flow. This can also prevent or slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease. 9. Prevents Liver Disease Turmeric is a kind of natural liver detoxifier. The liver detoxifies the blood through the production of enzymes and turmeric increases the production of these vital enzymes. These vital enzymes break down and reduce toxins in the body. Turmeric is also believed to invigorate and improve blood circulation. All of these factors support good liver health. 10. 9. Improves digestion Many key components in turmeric stimulate the gallbladder to produce bile, which then improves digestion and reduces the symptoms of swelling and gas. In addition, turmeric is useful in the treatment of most forms of inflammatory bowel disease, including ulcerative colitis. To get the optimum benefits of turmeric water, try this recipe: Ingredients: 8 ounces of filtered water Half teaspoon turmeric 1 teaspoon honey (optional) Preparation: Heat the water just below the boiling point. Please Subscribe! ▶ https://goo.gl/ksfh7M If You Drink Turmeric Milk Before Bedtime, This is What Happens To Your Body Turmeric is commonly used as a seasoning in food and can also be used as a dye for clothes. Turmeric’s health benefits are vast, but not very well-known. If you are not a curry fan, turmeric-milk is an excellent option. Simply add half a tea-spoon of turmeric to hot or cold-milk. Here are the following benefits of drinking turmeric-milk before-bedtime 1.It is a liver-tonic: Laboratory tests and clinical studies have demonstrated the ability of the curcumin in turmeric to prevent and reverse liver cirrhosis and fatty-liver. Liver, being the chemical-hub of the body, is constantly engaged in the processing of chemical substances entering the body. That includes environmental pollutants, chemical additives in processed foods and drugs taken for other disease conditions. The hepato-protective and detoxifying action of turmeric reduces the impact of injuries to liver tissue by these toxic substances. Increasing the production of bile, it helps remove biliary obstructions too.  2.It is an excellent blood purifier Turmeric has always been regarded as an excellent detoxifying agent. Our body has to deal with an onslaught of toxins that enter the blood through our food and drink as well as the respiratory tract. They can damage not only the blood vessels but all the other tissues that the contaminated blood reaches. Toxins in the blood are the underlying causes of many abnormal-skin conditions and other diseases. Turmeric helps the elimination of blood impurities by improving the function of the liver which is entrusted with the duty of identifying these toxins and finding a way to eliminate them. Moreover, the diuretic effect of turmeric helps flush out these toxins through urine. 3.Improved Digestion Turmeric can be used to help treat a variety of digestive problems, including digestive tract inflammation and reduction of gas and bloating. Just a little daily can help with almost any condition. However, those with gallbladder disease should not take turmeric due to over-stimulation. 4.Heart Health: Curcumin has also been shown to reduce bad-cholesterol (LDL), remove plaque buildups in the arteries, and prevent blood clotting. 5.It has anti-cancer properties The curcumin in turmeric has been shown to kill cancer-cells and prevent their spread to other areas in laboratory studies. It is found to be effective against cancers of the breast, prostate, skin, colon, and lung. Many cancerous growths go undetected and untreated in the initial stages when it would have been much easier to stop them in their tracks. Drinking turmeric-milk regularly may help prevent malignant growths as well as stop their progress in the early stages. 6.Gives relief from a cough and cold Turmeric-milk is a commonly used traditional remedy for a cough, cold, and other respiratory tract infections. Turmeric increases mucus production which naturally flushes out the microbes that have managed to get a foothold in the respiratory tract. The antiviral and antibacterial properties of turmeric can help fight the infections while the anti-inflammatory property helps relieve the symptoms. A cup of warm turmeric-milk before going to bed will relieve nighttime coughing and provide restful sleep. Turmeric is the third best-selling spice after flax and wheat grass in the last few years. Curcumin, its main ingredient, is a popular food additive with a nice, mild aroma and yellow color. Hence, people usually think that its consumption has no side effects. however, this is not completely accurate. This is because we often consider that natural things cannot be toxic or dangerous. Nonetheless, to some extent, this spice isn’t toxic, but there are individuals who have complained about nausea, diarrhea, stomach ache, and dizziness after turmeric consumption. Namely, when combined with black pepper, curcumin can be increased by 2000% and only one dose of this may feel like 29 cups. That is, the blood levels increase and this mixture can change the DNA in vitro. Therefore, to avoid unwanted side effects, these groups of people should avoid turmeric: 1. Pregnant and breastfeeding women. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consume turmeric cautiously or even better, avoid it completely. Namely, when consumed orally, turmeric can put their pregnancy at risk by stimulating a menstrual cycle or the uterus. Also, men who are trying to be fathers should avoid it as well, because turmeric is known to decrease the testosterone levels and sperm movement. 2. People with gallstones. If you are a person who has problems with gallstones, you should avoid turmeric because a recent study showed that this spice can cause serious problems and ache in the gallbladder. However, it’s good to know that turmeric can prevent gallbladder stones and protect the liver by stimulating the gallbladder functions. 3. People with biliary tract obstruction. They should avoid this spice or consume it very carefully. 4. People with kidney stones. If you consume turmeric on a daily basis, you are at a higher risk of developing kidney stones. Moreover, this spice has high levels of soluble oxalate which easily attaches to calcium. Calcium oxalate cannot be dissolved and this is the main reason for kidney stone problems. To be on the safe side, consume only 50 mg daily. 5. Diabetics. Turmeric has been associated with lowered blood sugar levels. Therefore, if you are a diabetic, consume turmeric moderately in order to keep your blood sugar levels balanced. 6. People who will undergo surgery. Exclude turmeric at least 3 weeks before a surgery as turmeric is known to lower the blood clotting and cause excessive bleeding during surgery. so hope you find this video useful. if you like the video please give it a thumbs up. if you want more Recipes and tips subscribe to the channel. so take care bye. and see you until the next video. Combining Black pepper and turmeric health benefits anti-cancer,Depression,weight loss, inflammation & pain. Combining turmeric and black pepper can help in preventing breast cancer. Interestingly, this mixture can also be beneficial for patients suffering from breast cancer. Turmeric is a potent medicinal herb. If you ingest it directly from your mouth, your body will not be able to absorb its nutrients fully. This is due to the fast metabolism within the walls of our intestine and in the liver. Black pepper is capable of increasing absorption of curcumin by up to 200 percent. So the combination is going to help in protecting your body against infections, cancers and inflammations. Powerful anti-cancer combination – According to a number of studies (performed some time ago), piperine (the active ingredient in black pepper) is capable of making curcumin (active ingredient in turmeric) a thousand times more readily absorbable for our body. Many other studies have shown that curcumin itself is highly potent in fighting against cancer. In the absence of piperine, turmeric’s bio-availability (absorbability) falls by a huge margin. In a study published in the Breast Cancer Research & Treatment Journals, scientists displayed how turmeric and black pepper combo was effective in targeting and killing cancer cells. #turmeric

First, one important reason to combine these two ingredients and consume them is that they enhance the health promoting abilities of each other. In fact, black pepper will enhance the bioavailability of turmeric. Curcumin has low levels of bioavailability, and because of this, much of the curcumin we consume is metabolized before it can be absorbed. Piperine has been found to make curcumin more bioavailable which allows us to absorb more of it and get its full healing and health promoting affects. 2. Eating turmeric mixed with black pepper also has tremendous anti-inflammatory affects for our bodies. This mixture is a known anti-inflammatory powerhouse and can be especially helpful for those individuals suffering from symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Curcumin is well known as a natural anti-inflammatory compound and for its anti-inflammatory affects. It reduces inflammation throughout our entire body and targets and fights inflammation at the molecular level. Curcumin can actually inhibit many of the molecules know to play a role in causing inflammation. Black pepper contains many different antioxidants which is great for reducing inflammation. These antioxidants in black pepper can help to both prevent and repair damage cause by free radicals and neutralize damaging compounds in our bodies, reducing inflammation in the process. 3. This mixture may also have benefits for certain types of cancer and may even reduce the risk of developing certain cancers. Studies have shown that curcumin can have positive affects on preventing cancer. Again, this is often attributed to several benefits curcumin provides at the molecular level which are enhanced by black pepper due to its absorption enhancing properties. Turmeric also provides many different nutrients and antioxidants which reduce damaging free radicals. Black pepper may also help in this regard to the polyphenols in contains. Discuss with your medical practitioner other cancer treatment and prevention methods. 4. Eating turmeric and black pepper can also have benefits for our overall heart health and reduce the risk of heart disease. Curcumin may actually help to not only reduce the risk of heart disease, but also reverse many of the steps in the heart disease process. Curcumin is unique in that it can help to improve the function and health of our blood vessels. This allows turmeric to help with the regulation of blood pressure and blood clotting. Turmeric also reduces inflammation as well as oxidation, two factors which may lead to heart disease. As well, since turmeric and black pepper contains curcumin and piperine, this can also help to reduce “bad” LDL cholesterol as well as reduce triglyceride levels in the body. 5. Lastly, combining and consuming turmeric mixed with black pepper can also have benefits for cognitive function and may even reduce the risk of developing certain cognitive diseases, such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Turmeric can help to reduce inflammation and oxidation that can lead to these neurodegenerative disease. As well, it can help to reduce the build-up of Amyloid plaques, which may cause these diseases. Black pepper can also improve cognitive function. Studies have shown that the compounds and components in black pepper can help to reduce memory impairment and cognitive malfunction. As well, piperine may be able to help stimulate chemical pathways in the body, which may help reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Again, discuss with your medical practitioner other treatment and prevention methods when it comes to this complicated disease and to make sure this mixture is safe for you. Small dosages of these two spices is often recommended when consuming them consistently. One-half to one teaspoon of turmeric is recommended with just a pinch of black pepper when consuming regularly. DISCLAIMER: This video is for educational and informational purposes only. Both have a distinct taste and are quite versatile in their abilities to be added to a number of recipes. Turmeric is also known as one of the healthiest spices we can consume and offers an incredible range of health benefits. The same can be said about cinnamon. When we combine these two wonderful spices together, they become a nutrient and health powerhouse that can improve your overall health a number of different ways. Lets discuss the health benefits of eating turmeric mixed with cinnamon consistently. Cinnamon is a wonderful spice, that works great in oatmeal recipes or even in shakes. It is very good for our health, and has even been used for its healing and medicinal properties around the world. It contains a health friendly compound known as cinnamaldehyde, which many of its health benefits can be attributed to. It is packed with a variety of protective antioxidants that work to reduce free radical damage and reduce the signs of aging. Some studies even suggest that cinnamon alone has 41 different protective compounds! This, along with the various flavonoid compounds it contains, makes it great for reducing inflammation throughout our entire body. Cinnamon also has anti-microbial effects, along with anti-fungal and anti-viral properties. This makes it great for boosting our immunity when consumed consistently and also to fight different infections and viruses. Cinnamon can also promote heart health, while reducing “bad” LDL cholesterol levels and promoting “good” HDL cholesterol in the body. If that wasn’t enough, it can reduce high blood pressure and high triglyceride levels. It can also help with blood sugar control, lower blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity, making it helpful for those individuals with diabetes. Turmeric also has incredible health benefits when it is consumed consistently. It is often regarded as a “miracle herb” or spice. It has incredible anti-inflammatory properties due to the compound curcumin which it contains. This can help with pain management. As well, like cinnamon, it has many antioxidants within it which can reduce oxidative stress in the body and increase antioxidant enzyme levels. Turmeric is also great detoxifying the entire body and important organs so that they can function properly and effectively. Some of turmeric’s other great health benefits include improving the digestive system, promoting heart health, improving the skin, bone and joint health and also immune system boosting. When combined together, turmeric and cinnamon are a health promoting powerhouse. In addition to being great for inflammation, heart health, energy, the health of your skin and loaded with antioxidants, to name just a few benefits, they also provide an incredible range of healthy vitamins, minerals and nutrients. The combination is a great source of manganese, calcium, vitamin K, iron, vitamin B6, fibre and amino acids.
